Dan Patrick Suggests Fewer School Entrances Could Prevent Shootings

Texas Lieutenant governor Dan Patrick said in the news conference on Friday that it is time and energy to get ‘creative’ when thinking about answers to prevent mass school shootings and suggested that fewer entrances and exits at schools would fix everything. We pay need to go through the designs of our schools continue,’ he said. Patrick, a fierce opponent of gun control, said with schools having a lot of doors it’s hard ‘to put a guard at every entrance and exit’. Maybe we have to check out limiting the entrance and exits to your schools in order that we are able to have police looking at individuals who can be found in at a couple of entrances,’ he suggested. Patrick also shared a few of his ‘out with the box’ ideas telling parents they have to execute a better job of keeping their firearms locked from their kids and said students should start school at differing times.
